I think hor, Singapore's yoshinoya can never compete with Taiwan de lor. Cos for one, the utensils and food boxes already lose to Taiwan de liao lor. And also, the Taiwan's version taste very nice also. Just like you go japanese restaurant can get de lor. And hor I noticed that Taiwanese loved korean pao cai and their own version's suan cai leh. Cos smelly tofu la, hong you cao shou la, even yoshinoya de food la, all got suan cai. It's practically like korea food must have kim chi and they must have suan cai lor. hmm..singapore lay? Dao gei? or Ko Lay Cai? Their yoghurt drink also not bad lor. It tastes like the low fat and less thick version of yakult lor and got a very nice name called "ke er mi si" (可爾密思).
